Let me formulate myself differently: not everybody is as elitist when it comes to genre-qualifications as you. And I still think the suggestions I made would be appreciated by the threadstarter. Whether you can call it "techno" with 100% accuracy is insignificant.

Sure thing skip! Someone asks for Techno, let's reccommend Deep House instead! That makes perfect sense...

Yup! Lots of deep house in my post, I know!

On a more serious note, I'll make sure to ask you for permission before I post any suggestions from now on.

On a side note, there's lots of similar tracks suggested in this discogs thread, and I don't see you bitching in there. Maybe because you know that your techno definition isn't a god-given truth? And don't come here and claim you haven't seen it, cause I know you have.
Aiwendil
Most of those people still live in 1992 when the tracks they reccommend came out.

On a side note: I'LL STAB YOU IN THE EYE BITCH!

Kay D. Smith - Killerpad
Alex K. Katz - Schlaflos
Ken Ishii - Extra

I was just pointing out that they're not techno, no need to get all defensive about it. Hah.

In that case I'll blame them for my insufficient knowledge of what's techno and what's not.

My additions:

Model 500 - Sound Of Stereo
Juan Atkins - Techno Music
Carl Craig - Mind Of A Machine
Kraftwerk - Radio Activity / Trans Europe Express
Orbital - Chime :eyes: :eyespop:

to name a few!

Estella: That Kenny Larkin tune is by Rhythim Is Rhythim. I have a lot of Kenny Larkin and I dont recall any of his tunes called Nude Photo, yet Derrick May's most popular release (one of) is called Nude Photo.

Like any other being, I choose tracks based on either of these methods..

OMGGG GET ORBITAL - CHIME!!!!

Orbital - Chime :eyes: :eyespop:

The only tune you'll ever need: Orbital - Chime

Orbital's "Chime" Enough said. Thread closed.

LSEJF OASJ FDL;AJFDL;KASJF ORBITALS - CHIME!!!

You see, the exagerration, the esctatic nature, the demand that YOU get THAT track and then possess the ability to regard its compelling bliss.

From now on.. we need to make a rule. No track gets :eyes: or  or :eyespop: unless it's at least, AT LEAST a 4 out of 5. Does that work, or no?

Ok, so in short.. what do you see in Chimes? to give it the
:eyes: :eyespop: I was so excited, too!!! :(

Half of these I can't even find. It's a disgrace !! Must be obscure, yes?

Last post, I swear I'm not bumping me own thread. :stongue:
