| Kawasaki is bringing the European model ER-6n over here to North America as the Ninja 650R, to compete against the Suzuki SV650/SV650S. |

Bikes in my garage right now...
'02 Honda CBR954RR, Speedscreen windshield, Yosh pipe

'02 Yamaha Vstar 650 Classic

The Honda is my cousin's bike, it's here for now while he's up north (and might I add, uninsurable), and the Yamaha is my dad's weekend fun machine.
Here's what I want...
Kawasaki Z750/Z1000.

This one has an aftermarket exhaust and underfairing but otherwise is the same. Such hot nakedness.
And, if they were sold in Canada, an MV Agusta Brutale S.

Much love for the single swingarm. |

^^^ Do you ride currently?
If not, then why not?
The CBR954 is a sweet bike.
I want the CBR1000RR Repsol edition as my next bike

Just learning now. I'll probably buy my own bike this winter while they're (slightly) cheaper. |

Nice. More people to ride with next season. |

I'll probably end up with a Ninja EX500 or an FZR600 because of cheap insurance and ease of riding for a beginner.
{edit} I'd kill for an early-mid 90s Honda VFR400 but they weren't ever sold here :(

Most insurance companies aren't going to give a first time rider a low insurance rate for any 600, even for an FZR600. I almost freaked out when I got a quote for an FZR600 in my first year of riding. I think they wanted $3,200 for just liability or something like that....But insurance companies all have different ways of quantifying their insurance premiums when it comes to bikes, so you might get lucky.
The EX500 is a solid bike. I had a 2002 500R and it was a solid bike. Kawi's are known for being bulletproof because they're very straight forward and the technology for the 500 hasen't changed much in sine 1987. There's lots of mods available for them, and I can even hook you up with a mechanic that raced them. |

Yeah. I've been quoted just over $2100 though, but we'll have to see. |

Let me know when you're shopping for insurance, I have a list of all insurance companies in Ontario. There are little tricks you can use like using an address in another city, like maybe your parents place. |
