She had this on Strange Little Girls, which came out in 2001. Never a big fan of that album as a whole, because 1) I'm not a girl, so an entire album devoted to the gender relations from a female perspective that doesn's doesn't do it for me, and 2) It's too creepy. The '97 Bonnie and Clyde (Eminem) is an example of the creepiness I'm talking about. I just can't take really slow singing or speech that's of something that i have no experience with (being a female in tragic/depressing situations) backed by similarly slow pianos or percussion. Also, she turns The Beatles - Happiness is a Warm Gun into an anti-gun sound byte frenzy. |

| tori's covers vacillate between the extremes of good and bad. all the covers on 'strange little girls' were poorly done because she quickly slapped the album together in order to satisfy (and get out of) her contract with atlantic records. |
