When I joined this forum 3 years ago, I was but just a lad. I clicked on thread to thread, wishing to post, but not doing it because I had nothing to say. *waits for crowd's laughter*

anyway...Now ive been watching this here CORe as I frigging dubbed it you bastards...Ahem...as Ive been growing along with it. Ive had my squabbles...my 1 time banning...watching Vivid get suspended time and time again for being wildly and hilariously inappropriate.
Ive watched the jokes ebb and flow, the party princesses face shot and fade into dim memory. I was THERE when APLZ committed suicide and mailed us from the hospital.
I was THERE when the letter was sent.
I was there.
and now we come to a new crossroads. Who should be one of our guarding angels keeping the CORe pristine, clean, and the insults pithy.
I nominate UWM for his outSTANDING efforts he has made over the years for bringing peace to our boards. Also, to be honest, I think few veterans of this place are more in tune with the wishes of the Collective. He knows our fears, our hopes, our clever jokes, and most importantly, understands how deep down we all just want to get along.
I hereby stand by this man, in sickness and in health, and might even pretend to kiss him in public to embarass him in front of people occasionally....but I will NEVER say that this man does not deserve the right, nay the AUTHORITY to lay down some LAW in this town.
*slowly backs out of room doing the robot to a round of thunderous silence. |

Myself and other mods have bugged swamper to death on bringing in a new wave of moderators, rob's name has been mentioning many times and would be a good mod for the main forums.
I am personally very frustrated that we have so much dead wood in terms of moderators at the minute, with probably only 50% of the mods we have across the whole site logging on even once a week.
So i dunno if u were just twatting about with this thread, but thats my view anyway. |
