since there are so many threads about trance and the kool haus.. i want to see a couple of reviews form people who actually stayed in the guv.. people who spent the night in the tent or in the skybar..
what about those of you who stayed til 10:40 dancing hardcore.. those i always.. ALWAYS get to see in the end of an event.. sketching out outside..
deep dish was sooo good they even made me dance that stupid song.. say hello.. i hate it but eveything in that set was just perfect.. it was the perfect music for my ears.. for the room.. for the hour.. for the people..
diggers.. he was just awesome.. honestly im wordless.. ahhhhhhhhhh! and demi.. what can i say.. he was the perfect person to open for digweed.. as much as i love demi'style.. deep dish was in the funking guv.. and i cudnt really go away.. i mean who didnt like deep dish' set from 5am.. the music was so dirty it was hard to stop dancing..
the music was so perfect every corner in the room was a perfect spot to dance.. so perfect i forgot that the place was over crowded.. but i opened enough space to keep my little bones shaking..
so far.. this has been the event of the year.. i forgot about my friends.. about the number of people beeing there.. about old asians chasing me.. about everything.. it was just about the music..
now.. first day of school..

you wouldn't be saying that if z103 didn't ruin it for us. when that first came out last many/june and manzone & strong were ripping it up on skybar, everyone was like wholey best song ever and a must have for everyone. abuse is what kills it. |

I'm one of those people who spent the majority of the night in the Guv/Skybar. Sure both places were rammed beyond recognition but the beats that were flowing through couldn't pull me away. Demi opened the night up really well with some sick dirty beats, it was still early in the night so I actually had a chance to dance during his set. As soon as Diggers comes on about 1000+ people all of sudden appeared and there was no room anywhere not even a foot in either direction to dance. That was some craazzzy but Diggers delivered a pretty good set since it was my first time hearing him spin. Spent a good couple of hours up at Skybar and yet again nowhere to move/dance but watching the sunrise and listening to Demi was golden. Went downstairs and finished my night off with Deep Dish for an hour or so. Left at 8:30 but if I new they were staying open till 10 I would've been there. DAMN!!!
I made a request in the other review thread but I guess no one read it. At around 8-8:15 Sharam dropped this sick ass house song with female vocals that was something like "add the bassline" I think, anyone know the name of that one... plus if you heard that song than the one played two prior with another female vocal. |

The music at LoL was insanely good. I thought the vibe of the crowd was amazing, but the whole place was just too crowded..
We got there really early.. Heard MO drop some dirty tribal beats before heading over to guv for Demi's opening set - which was KILLER!!!
Spent almost his entire set front & centre.. dancing and screaming like a maniac.. The space during the early part of his set was a godsend...
once it got too packed, headed up to check out Skybar.. where Brad Goldfinger was absolutely killing it.. spent maybe an hour up there dancing, when i received the perfectly timed SMS from SP which convinced me to head down to the insanely rammed guv for diggers..
DIGGERS. HOLY FACK. This set destroyed his recent appearance at system. Such SOLID tunage.. No room to dance at the front with everyone trying to get somewhere else.. Dancing circle didn't help. After about an hour and a half, headed out to smoking area for a break.
Even the damn smoking area was PACKED.. stood by the bar complaining to Digi how pissed I was while digweed dropped choon after ing choon. Finally needed to get some serious bass to the face. Back into guv.. took 20 minutes to get myself to the bathroom.. stood in line for 10 minutes.. on the way out thought about hitting skybar again, but there was a huge crowd around the stairs, so avoided them, headed through the KH out to the tent outside where Sydney Blu destroyed me. I literally couldn't stop moving for about 3.5 hours. Tunes were great, room to dance, fresh air. The tent was a godsend, dunno what i would've done otherwise..
Left around 8:30.. by that time I was certain another attempt at getting to skybar would be pointless, and my body was exhausted (more from the pushing and shoving than from dancing :(:(:()
still feel like i should've just hit Carte Blanche tho :sadgreen: |

| Loved the music on skybar, hands down my favourite set was Demi in the Guv... it wasn't too packed so we could tear it up proper front row center!!! Sydney was tearing up the outside tent too!!! what a friggin wicked night... i love the chaos!:D |
