Wow, I was pretty impressed by the venue. Not too impressed with the DJ though (I know, I'm a tough critic). It was awesome to meet so many TA's in the same night! Mr. Pink, scamsel, trance-singer, ThomBizznich (you're much taller than I expected :tongue2 ) and I know I met more but I got pretty drunk so you'll have to forgive me :clown: It was also great to see the usual suspects again.
Javi, you left w/out getting your cd! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?? It seemed like everyone just disappeared all at the same time. Oh well, I had a great time.
I was so pissed last night that we never made it to the after party. My phone went dead right before we got the rest of the directions! We were so close too but the girls didn't have Gavin's number. I hope y'all had fun without us.

Well, I had a great time!! Best birthday ever! It was really good to see Gavin, Matt, and finally meet Javi. Sorry I didn't get to meet anybody else.
On a side note to Greg....sorry Brittany and I were so loud and woke your Grandpa last night!! And why would Britt and I have Gavin's number?!?! Don't try to put the blame on us!!

I totally agree about the Tommy Lee thing. I was downright angry when he was up there. I mean, you've got all these talented local djs that rarely get the opportunity to play at a big venue like that and you've got ing Tommy Lee up there ing up??? I wasn't just a little upset about that, I was steamin'.
On a more positive note, the vibe at the Compound was amazing. I'm sorry I had to miss Jonathan's set though, I was kinda looking forward to seeing what he is all about. |

Ehhhh. Compound & CL were ok. I love to dance and have fun....just couldn't get into the hard, pounding American trance beat. But hey...to each their own. Seeing Tommy Lee at the end of the night was pretty f'n cool, though :)
The after-party and events that followed are what made the night memorable. This weekend definitely goes up on to my top 5 list of good times in Atl.
As usual, always a great time partying with all the TA's. Birthday party for Alisa was lots of fun! Hope you get to enjoy the gift babe :)

Brandon - So glad we finally got a chance to rock it out proper together! Looking forward to more fun times in the future.

I saw about 30 minutes of Jonathan Allen, he was quite good. I am glad he was opening. The mood was pretty good inside, I liked it :) The mess with the surface cards was annoying. And to be honest I figured that Tommy Lee would kinda suck so we left when he was coming on. Ya'll should have put Scott up there :p
Anyway, it was a great party overall. I am looking forward to Above and Beyond!!!!1!!!111 |

I got in, had to pay full price, and thats fine.....i guess.
as for the show, twas splendid.
too bad i dont remember much of it, tho.

We apologize about the Surface card problem last night. There were some bugs this first time out at Compound but, everything is resolved there and you won't have a problem if your coming out to Above and Beyond this Friday at Eleven 50.
Thank you for coming out and supporting our first of many events to come over at the Compound. If you have any questions or problems please let us know so we can make your next experience go off without a hitch.
