View this Thread in Original format sk3zebot okay, i'm trying to figure out how i can either obtain or make this one sound in particular.. i'm not sure how to describe it other than to say i've heard it in a lot of prog/techno tracks... it's like a really distorted-sounding sample of a crowd going "heyyy", it's usually used quite repetitively in songs i've heard it on, like every other beat (can't bring any of those songs to mind though). would i actually have to find a sample of a crowd doing that and then run it through some plugin or is it something that comes as is? thx for the help.. djlogik It'd probably be easier if you posted what the sample sounds like. Then maybe we could give you better advice on how to create it or something. One thing I can suggest is getting some FX sample cds or something and they'll probably have something. Or check out DC++ and find some hubs and get some samples there. It's simple to recreate though if I'm thinking what you're thinking. Get someone to say "heyyyy" and then add some chorus to it along with a little chorus flanger maybe.
