You might have heard the original, "Manvel ft. Cècile Marpeau - Sing To The Dead"

It's a lovley piece of work. The original is film-music, but I tried to remix this beauty into trance ;) I started working on this remix yesterday, and finished it today. (3 hours work, so nothing special)

Huh? It isn't illegal to remix another track!! Haha - remix it as much as you want. But it's illegal if you earn money from the track, and if you call it YOUR production.
And to be honest, I don't see why Manvel should say NO if you asked him for permission to remix it. If people make remixes of tracks, the original gets more promotion - equals more interrest. So... :rolleyes: |

very nice and solid intro !
overall it was a very nice listen, sounds a bit empty around 1:30 eventhough it is pretty solid.
the high synth later around 2:20 is a bit thin maybe ;)
overall the mix is clear and solid, i like that alot. strings are cute :D

i haven't heard the original of this yet.
yummy strings and digeridooishflutethingy (i forget what it is lol, but i like that instrument)
then it's cool it goes into trance style
liking the orchestrated feel of the whole thing
even though it's common i really enjoy the plucked synth sound that comes in around 4:06 and piano at 5:02 is a nice addition. |

Nice strings and intro is good, elements work a treat. Unfortunately i have to agree about that lead, it is a tad cheesy. Build in is great, the plucked synth is cool. Nice kick, bass, percussion. Percussion could do with a bit more Perc to it when in full motion (Make it stand out like the end of the composition).
