exactly.. cuz they don't have clubs like we do here.. they have big outdoor festivals..
The Hague has Asta but that is about it... their clubs close at like 5-6am there.. not like here and their outdoor festivals go from 10am to 1130pm at latest..
If it comes to festivals.. they would kick all of our asses though :p
and it is ok Lopi.. it wouldn't bother me one bit if you did hate TO.. and yeah.. TO is a trance city.. but that is slowly changing.. I say bring on the house and more techno :p

You're right...but the big names who like avb, tiesto, ferry ect that are the kings of raves....all come from there, or around there. Plus they have sensation...and dance valley...:o near by |

Is the Guv really a china town? I keep hearing this over and over, and I wanna know from someone who goes often if it's true or not.
I mean truthfully speaking one of the best normal nightclubs (top40 ) in Montreal is more or less an asian club (Jet)... So I'm not sure if it's a bad thing if there are lots of them or not but... People make it out to be A PROBLEM, so ya, I would like to know if A) There are loads of... and I quote... "Cracked out asians" in the Guv and B) If it actually affects the night of partying in any way...

yes lopi.. for the most part that is correct..Guv has a lot of "cracked out asians" that go there.. I have been going to guv for 2 years now and i have personally learned to look past it most of the time cuz really.. they are just out to have a good time as well right? you can't knock someone for that and i don't at all..
BUT...
it is rather annoying when I am shoved or pushed when there is no room for even me to walk as they try to get past me (which i kindly turn around and dare them to push me one more time) and i don't like them stopping or sitting in the middle of the dancefloor to get an effn light show either.. the dancefloor is not the place for that anywhere.. it is meant for dancing only...but that rule applies to everyone.. but they are probably on a lot more k then all of us too :p
but you know what.. when a good dj comes to town and you are out to have a good night.. the scenery will not bother your night in any way.. the night generally seems to be that much more amazing so you forget about all the little things that may have been done to piss you off in a night..
seriously.. i have learned to just deal with it.. and the TA's generally stick together as well so we just party with one another!

I would but im a youngin man, only 18. Section of Guv serves booze no? And drinking age is 19...
Tag and I were thinking of coming for labour of love a while back but ya, harsh reminder that we are 1 year too young :P
And then ya, Aria got sick bookings too so we stopped worrying. |
