The most unique people you've ever met?

Ian^
I found some old photos out today from 1999, when I was working 3 days a week in a shop that sold mainly pianos, but also keyboard, guitars, and all sorts of other instruments, sheet music & the likes, and it was from a random day when i showed up to be told that there was going to be some special guests.... These guys were from Japan & High-end executives in the Yamaha company, bringing over new models for us to see them. One of the men who only spoke broken english talked to me a bit, and i thought he was pretty funny, and one of the other 2 men told me that he actually programs every sound/instrument and demo song into the yamaha keyboards. Kinda took me back a bit when you think about all of that and the chances of me actually meeting him.

So, this thread is for you to say - who is the weirdest (as in 'omg i met him/her and i never expected to') for example I know slylee met a famous actress from american pie a long time back) person you have met ? would be fun to see the random people we've bumped into without trying.

Met the guy who used to program a lot of the watches for Timex. He even introduced me to the lady that did the voice on some talking clock that was odd. His garage was full of watches :haha:

Otherwise I've met some other out there people like one who had his house featured in numerous magazines, someone else who had an original Chagall at his office and a Picasso back home.

That would be when I met the whole team of Arsenal in the public indoor swimming-bath, while sitting in the cafeteria a saturday morning waiting for my brothers.

I was wearing a local football shirt (IFK Göteborg) and Ian Wright commented on it. Talked to him and some other guys in the team. I was so nervous I forgot to get their autographs or picture or anything.

I was about 12 or so.

I was punched by a movie star once!

I was shopping at Loeb (grocery store), and ahead of me in the line was Sandra Oh (Sideways etc.), so I said to the cashier "I didn't know this line was only for movie stars", and then she turned and punched me.

i have met many people that talked to themselves .....

- a woman who talked to her imaginary dog.

- another woman who had two imaginary kids.

- another guy who thought he had an i.d., so he asked everyone who crossed by him if anyone would like to buy the i.d. in his hand currently for $10...
