dub3 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (db)
tr.v. dubbed, dub·bing, dubs

To transfer (recorded material) onto a new recording medium.
To copy (a record or tape).
To insert a new soundtrack, often a synchronized translation of the original dialogue, into (a film).
To add (sound) into a film or tape: dub in strings behind the vocal.

That's kind of difficult considering the maximum search word length is 4 characters and the major keyword here is "dub".

Anyways, a dub version is usually a second-version of a track (whether its a remix or the original mix) with some major elements dropped out. Sometimes vocals are cut out or re-edited, or the track itself is simplified.

Dub versions are pretty cool, especially if you want to "dub" in some different vocals or samples, or add some entirely new element to it.

The Google + Trance Addict Search Option is implied.

It's when higher frequencies are removed from the track, so the result is bass dominated.

It's also a style of music which is largely build from the same idea, but not all Dub Mixes are part of the Dub genre.
