so on anything carbonated it always says open away from face, and i always laughed at it
just now i had a bottle of sparkling lemonade that i opened last night, about 2/3 full
it had been in the fridge, hasn't been shaken or anything at all
so it was sitting on my nightstand dealie and from my bed i was opening it, luckly with my hand not over it, and the thing ing SHOT off
and not just like popped off...that hit the ceiling with a considerable amount of force
beware of carbonation!

ninja edit: i just looked at the bottle and it doesn't say anywhere open away from face...idk if thats other things or not, but if i had gotten injured off that, in lawsuit :p

Alright, so if a drink is capable of causing mini explosions, doesn't that indicate to you that it couldn't possibly be healthy for you?

Silly people drink and eat massive amounts of and wonder why they have ulcers and clogged arteries. Clean distilled water for me thanks!

hehehe this reminds me of when i was working at the Live Performance theatre as stage crew. we used to use lots of Dry Ice for creating the fog effect during the live shows....so one day i went ahead and made a Dry Ice bomb using a 2 litter coke bottle with loads of left over dry ice and HOT water.....as soon as I closed the cap......i was still inside the building i quickly ran out to put the bottle on the floor outside and watch it explode....well as soon as i put the bottle down (was holding it from the cap) it explodes right in my hand.....heheh the cap mark was on my hand for the rest of the day and i couldnt grip anything for the life of me!! ahhh the good ol pyro days....how i missed bieng an idiot :toothless
