Any other "classical ambient" albums like William Orbit's Pieces in a modern style?

Hi,

I really like Orbit's "Pieces in a modern style", you know the combination of slow and majestic classic compositions with a dreamy ambient production. I really love Orbit's version of Handel's largo from Xerxes for example.

Now I was wondering if there are any other artists/albums out there with ambient remakes of classical music. I would love to hear an ambient remake of "Adagio in G minor" (Remo Giazotto, based on a fragment by Albinoni) or "Air on a G string" (Bach) to name a few..

Thanks for the info!

You could try Classical Trancelations maybe. It's mostly trancy versions of classical pieces, but CD1 has got some chill/ambient tracks on it.
