You people are forgetting that Oakey is a legend. Oakenfold defined the Trance genre. Trance will NEVER be the same again, it will never be as good as it was when he owned the scene back in '99 and I fully blame Tiesto. Tiesto is not bad, but its an understatement for him to be the #1 DJ 3 years in a row.. err or is it 4 now? He changed the scene by commericializing trance. There were positive impacts: Electronic music is growing and being accepted worldwide more so than ever before but it will never be the same as it was approximately 5-7 years ago.
The first time I went to Guv was to see Oakey, and the second time... was to see Oakey again ;) -- I refuse to miss any shows when this legend is in town.

put me down for this one +1 for Hernan of course, i wouldn't mind checking out cockenfold, last time i've seen him ut was two years back.
as much as he has his off nites he pulls it off once in a while, but if he does those one step back suprised jesus poses you'll be seeing me else where. |

trance in most part of the world has ALWAYS been the commercial part of dance music. Just not here until recently. |

well he also toured with them during pop mart, not sure which tour this pic was at. |
