actually this was true before but our dollar has gained a lot of ground compared to most major currencies during the summer. For example against the Euro the dollar is now $1.45 whereas before the summer it was $1.63.
You can thank the high oil prices though :whip: :whip: |

The entire world market is screwed up right now. Asian economies are consuming more and more resources, Europe's economies are starting to fail because their social programs are going bankrupt, and let's not even get into what's happening with the USA.
This is good for us in the short run and I'm sure I'll be cashing in on it, but it's a sign of much worse things to come in the long run on a global scale. |

I'm with you on this one Aaron, but frankly for selfish reasons this makes me quite happy! Paying back american student loans via cnd dollars is a bitch! |

Just came back from the states :D (Thank you Swamper for reminding me that I went to SF 3 weeks too early!!)
Went on a little shopping spree ;) Last time I went to the states the rate was like ~1.40 (~71 cents). |

Very true. Wonder when we'll see a major financial crash next. Man, that's a scary thought. |
