Hey guys
u need to do me a massive favour here...
I'm sutdying A levels and my ing teacher:whip: is expecting 1 month of work from me which i havent done..so last night i thought i should write up a questionnaire..At least i can tell him that its being done..u no?neway, wud be great if u cud just spare me a few minutes to asnwer these questions. I think that's a bit of a broad question, I have a pretty diverse musical palette. I think EDM is my true passion because of the range of raw emotion it evokes, but in general I pick different genres of music to bring out certain moods.

Exceptionally... I need it daily, even hourly...
3. Do you go clubbing and/or to raves?
Yes.

2-3+ times

Anywhere from $40-50 to hundreds of dollars...

Yes, pot is likely my favorite, though I tend to dabble... :D

Trance of varying descriptions, as well as other types of EDM, but not to the extent that trance does. I guess there are certain types of personalities that would enjoy certain types of music/films etc. I'm no neurologist, but I guess the music and the scene it encompasses fit my personality in some way.
2. How dependant are you on music?
I listen to music whenever I can, which is everyday for the most part. If I go for a few days without listening to some good music, I get withdrawel symptoms. :p
3. Do you go clubbing and/or to raves?
Yes, but not as often as I'd like.

To a good club, maybe once every three months. To a crappy 'pop/cheese/R'n'B' club, once a week I guess.

Around £20-30.

No drugs for me thanks. Fit women, aye. Drugs, nah. Oh, and beer.

Definitely not.

If I like it, I like it. But to be fair, that doesn't happen very often. :p

Down to earth I'd say. Although it would be cool to be a bit more spiritually enlightened.

To have fun is top priority. Obviosly, to have fun, it helps to have money, hence I want to finish my uni degree. After that, I want to own my own company, own a club, and eventually run for Prime Minister. But don't get me started on politics.
12. What values/morals do you hold on to?
Generally speaking, as I'm not religious, I go by the law that "I wont do to anyone what I wouldn't want done to myself". Seems to keep me on the straight and narrow for the most part.
13. Does getting high make you want to listen to music or does listening to music make you want to get high?
Neither.
14. Where do you consider yourself in society?
A sponging student, and proud of it. Because I know one day I'll be giving back to society more than the people who whine about 'sponging students'.

T-shirt (usually from Top Man/Burtons etc, nothing fancy). Jeans, flared/ripped/discoloured. Bare feet, coz it's comfy. May or may not wear underwear, depends on my mood. :p

Same as above. I dont generally wear much jewellery or accessories. I might do something with my spiky hair, such as colour it, but not much else really. |

Lol,Alcohol is the only 'intoxicating' substance I take,and I only drink in moderation.

I have in my past listened to all kinds of music,in my young teenage years I listened to rap,rock, anything lol. I just dislike bad music,but I do not make it known to other people that I hate it.

My best shoes,white ;). Expensive designer shirt/t-shirt, My flared Jeans(I love 'em,they suit me. Hairusually straightened and gelled/sprayed. Watch and chain round my neck. Simple yet stylish.

well i listen and appreciate lots of music, but my main passion is Electronic Dance Music. i suppose the reason is because of the complexity of the music and the subtle nuances within the tracks.

i enjoy music, but i won't die if i can't listen to it. since i have it available to me i listen to it...at home...in the car...whenever

yes. i go to night clubs.

it depends. if there are a lot of great dj's coming to town maybe 3-4 times a month...if not, then maybe i won't go at all and just go to a bar instead.

alcohol is expensive at the clubs i go to so if i haven't already been drinking maybe around 50-80 dollars. really a waste though.

not really a big drug person. have i tried them? yes. do i do them...no. only tried stuff once and nothing happened.

when i'm not listening to EDM, i'm probably listening to soft rock like dido or tori amos hahaha. most people are pretty surprised because i don't typically fit the stereotyped clubber that i'm sure the purpose of this survey is meant to reveal.

definitely down to earth. i'm a very rational person and i don't think i could even say spirituality is even apart of my life.

well after i finish college this year i'm planning on attending law school. other than that i'd like to someday have a family, travel, and be happy.

i'd say that morally i'm just your average person. i'm not religious or fanatical about anything. i'm not going to kill people, but i'm not gonna feel quilty for speeding or something.

i really think that the link between drugs and music comes from those people that really don't enjoy the music, but enjoy the drugs and the music becomes a way of increasing that drug induce feeling. i think it's kind of sad that people that listen to this music are automatically labelled as drug users. i just really enjoy the music, the rhythms, the ebb and flow of the music.
14. Where do you consider yourself in society?
in what terms? i'd say that i'm financially in the middle. i'm come from a modest family, but i plan on being wealthy with my education and career choices. intellectually i'd consider myself smarter than most people.

my chioce of clothing is gonna be similar on both days because i value the way i look. i'd say that my style is casual, yet sophisticated. probably some kind of jeans...some nice shoes...a button up shirt or t-shirt depending on the day...or a comfortable sweater when its cold out.

the same philosophy would hold, but a little dressier. i don't wear a tie to the office because i don't have to, but similar...probably a button up shirt and some dressier pants...

once again something similar. i have a certain way i want to look and in order to do that i try and look presentable in everything i do. maybe a different type of shirt of something, but the general style that i wear doesn't change much in theory.

dirty sexy funky electro techy house... and trance... and mcprog. i was actually just thinking about this yesterday (the "Why?" part of the question) as i was driving home from work, and i can't really explain it. it's just the only form of music i've ever felt an intense emotional connection to. i mean i love all different genres of music but EDM is the only one that i can "feel"... as cliche as that sounds.

extremely. so much so that ex-boyfriends have told me it's a "problem" and an "obsession"... i don't like to go more than a day without listening to EDM, and if i am not currently listening to it i usually start hearing music in my head to make up for it.

clubbing, yes.

2-3 times per month on average

that all depends on what context it's in, but overall i would say that i enjoy doing drugs more than drinking.
