| I have no clue how to use it and have yet to find any tutorials or something on it. I import a midi file and press play and I get no sound. I'm probably just an idiot and am doing something stupid, but if someone could step me in the right direction that'd be great. |

Go into your midi preferences and choose whatever is controlling the midi out (if its hardware, pick your hardware USB or Soundcard). For me it's my USB midi cable that links to my JP8080.
Next, add a Midi Out and draw some notes in. Now click the Midi Out and set it to Port 1.
Your hardware should play whatever is in your midi out now. To chain multiple synths, set the ports for each synth and for each Midi Out accordingly.
You can also use Midi Out for controlling reason and other things of that nature; just make sure you keep track of which channel and port is used for which object in Reason.
Hope this helped instead of causing more confusion... I just woke up. eheh |
