How was Ultra last night?

| So did anyone end up going to this last night and if so then how was it? How did le Dish play? My friend was there last night but she said she was too drunk to remember much, although she said they played soft. |

it was good....ali actually came out a little dirtier and funkier than i thought he would....he dropped some pretty dirty tracks and did a great job with pryda - aftermath during his first set.....sharam came on and pretty much played every hit song they have in their collection.....mixing wasn't the greatest, not really much flow to what he was doing.....but ali came back on and got funkier again...mixing on point, and actually constructing a pretty decent set.....overall it was good tho..you can't beat being able to stand an arm's length away from your favourite djs and watch an entire show......
the club itself was super nice and the clientele was exactly what you would expect for a place like that....but at points the dish got the entire floor dancing with their hands in the air...so it was kinda cool to see them connecting like that with that crowd. |

| Ali stole the show last night. Dirty beats. The setting was perfect. Good looking people everywhere. The crowd was really into DD's set, so that was a good thing. Overall, an excellent night. Enjoying DD with a lot of space to dance..you cant beat that! |

| Ultra was good, and it certainly has a very la-de-da type of atmosphere. Ryan and I got there a little after 9pm, had a couple beers chillaxing until DD came on. Once I got in the door I thought it might have been a good opportunity to wear one of my suites that I hardly ever get to wear. Although it would have gotten pretty sweaty later in the night when kicking it to some dark and dirty DD tracks. Dan Ackroyd was there and came on and welcomed Deep Dish part way through their set... I had to work the next day so ended up leaving around 3:30am. |
