| i just got their invitation from my school and im wondering if anyone is a member or knows something about them that can tell me if its worth joining? |

I am a member of GK. All I get from them is... tons of newsletters. Not very interested in the events they organize...
but I know it's good to have this on your resume!
so think about it. If an extra line on your resume is worth $70 (or whatever the fee is this year), then join them, if no... it doesnt look like u r losing a lot :) |

nope. no scholarships, nor job connections.
My own University helps me way better with that than GK does. |

Hi,
I'm a member too. Cant say that I went to more than 4 meetings or events but like Niv said its good to have it on ur resume. I put it on mine - it just looks good- means that ur a geek :crazy: juts like I used to be- employers like it ( I was just kidding about the geek) congratulations!!!! Keep up the good marks!!!

| if i pay membership fees and then this year i do piss poor am i still in the society or am will i have to regain my marks? and did employers ever go "so youre a golden key member?" or something along those lines during an interview? |
