Now they are being really good to me at this place and it works out to $20 for 3 shots from the bottle. Basically they would pay the same at the bar individually but this gets them 3 drinks plus a table. Most are my friends are actually backing out of this! I guess they expect a free ride or drink tickets or something? Wont it be something when i cancel the table and to make it up to the club i cancel the guest list and they end up spending $15 each and no drinks?
ing cheap people.... i hate them.... $20 for god sakes! |
If it makes you feel better, I wouldn't spend 20 bucks for you on your birthday either...wait a minute, thats not suppose to make you feel better. |

to be fair i never gave them a chance to. I decided to make my own plans considering i work at the club that im holding the party at. So not a big deal on that aspect. BUT... $20?? COME ON ALREADY!!
I seem to have made my point though and everyone is starting to realize how cheap they are being... so thats good. |

it's not THAT weird. Mine's on Mon, and I think I'll hit up Joof, unless changes. |

Not everyone can afford putting a lot of money towards entertainment. They do have other important costs they may have trouble meeting otherwise, like rent, food, helping out a family member in trouble... so many possibilities.
Anyway, the key thing is finding friends who like the same things and like to spend the same amount on them as you (roughly). There is fun stuff to do in every price range. |

They must not be that great of friends cuz your bashing them in a forum. Take this up with them.
BTW, happy birthday Jay. |

lame.
I don't care if you pour coffee at Timmy's, you can afford $20
What annoys me is when people say "I CAN'T afford to..." or "I have no money"...then go out and buy an ing iPod or something.
There's a difference between I CAN'T and I DON'T WANT TO.
If it's $20, then I suspect the latter...which is pretty lame if it's a friend's b-day :whip: |

most of my friends aren't cheap, but some are ing disgustingly cheap :p
and some (not friends) are leech, at my bachelor party, we had 4 bottles, and some ta starts drinking, i don't mind but then he invites his friends to drink... wtf. I was so wasted that i didn't really care nor anyone else.
or at my wedding, some guy i know who wasn't invited, tells me at the wedding, that he has only 25$ to give me as a gift?!?!?! i'm like dude, wtf you talking about, this is an inapropriate conversation, don't talk to me right now i'm dancing... so he goes on how's he's sorry, i don't ing care. Later, i see some of his friends (not invited either) hanging at the bar leeching off the open bar!?!?!? Some people have the nerves:mad: :whip: |

It's true Malek - the penny pinchers are almost always the moochers and freeloaders. One wonders how they can be such hypocrites - they'll freak out if they get overcharged 3 cents on their phone bill, but they're more than happy to tell you that you should leave a $10 tip on the $30 meal or round of drinks you graciously treated him/her to.
One of my old roommates was like this. He'd buy 40 packages of pasta if they were on sale and almost never left a tip - but when it came time to settle our house bills, which he finally got around to doing 8 months after we moved out, he thought I should be paying for his share of the cable bill because he didn't watch much TV (according to him anyway - I seem to remember him watching more than any of us).
Stay away from cheapskates - they usually don't turn out to be very nice people. |
