Over the summer I was in China for a month. It was indeed a culture shock to me. Everywhere I went; people would stop and stare me down. Had a few girls try to pick me up in Guang Zhou, but ya know that ain’t happenin! Met up with my mom’s side of the family and we took off to go site seeing for many days. Thank GOD my cousins came along or I would have gone home pretty fast. Went to many tourist spots, towns, cities and “the village” I saw the good, bad and the ugly. I won’t be writing a full review, because it will take forever! I did not get a chance to hit Beijing (Great Wall + Forbidden City) & Shanghai, b/c we ran out of time. I will be returning in 2006 to hit up all the major cities with my friends next time around. The purpose of going this time is to meet my families and relatives. And to do some religious praying at “the village”
Please note, I have never taken any pictures at all and it was the first time I used a digital camera! I kept the angles off centered to keep things interesting, this is what I learned in Graphic Design and I just applied it when I took the pictures
