Review: Mark Oliver's 9hr solo session @ Guv

WOW!!! What a great night after LoL!!! Although obviously we all know Mark Oliver could of played better, it was still a night of great music and lots of dancing!!
Got to Guv at around 12ish, went straight into skybar and chilled there for a while. They dropped DeepDish - Say Hello up there and the crowd went nuts!!! That is such a great track for that specific environment!! Then went down to see Mark and he never dissapoints!! Dirttty beats but like I said, it just seemed like Mark was taking a week off since LoL. I know a lot of people might disagree with me on this one but that is because you were prolly on some good pillz. Although I must say that when he dropped David Guetta's The World Is Mine, everybody went insane, including me dancing on the speakers during that time!!! Hearing Till There was You one more time definately raised the roof at the Guv once again!!! Finally had to leave at 5AM b/c friends were leaving and had to hitch a ride home, otherwise would prolly stay longer if I had a choice.
Tyler (TranceGrooves) - wow wat a surprise meet up, i didn't know u were coming but great to see you again bro and i'll definately party it up with you next weekend for MIKE and Oakie and yeah it's ur birthday!!!!
Overall a good night for shake shake shake but the real party is next weekend and hopefully will see you all out there on the dancefloor!!!
BRING IT!!!!! AND NEXT TIME......DANCE YOU ******S!!!!!!!
(that goes to the lazzzzy crowd at times tonight)

Wow....it took for ever for anyone to show up at the Guv last night.
MO started off pretty slow and I was thinking maybe it was a mistake to come out....he just seemed off at the beginning. But in typical MO fashion he started to feel what the crowd wanted and he delivered. It was nice to have room to dance for once. Left shortly after the sun came up.
Overall 7.5/10
I wish I could make it out next weekend but I've got PAGER duty. |

| i got to hear technotronics - pump up the jam (gian's crowd is jumping mix) twice within like 10mins lol. i love that remix so much...it was played in the drink...then moments later i walk to the main room and mark is playing it (he had it sped up a bit though) to be honest didn't catch to much of marks set, was on the skybar most of the night enjoying my last outting up there til next summer. but was definately fun...and damn, at the front of the main room it was so empty, i loved it, other then rude arrogent ppl, you didn't have to worry about be clobbered every second. |

i'm really happy i left earlier, cuase if i left last nite with the sun rising, i would feel like absolute right now. some nites its not a big deal, but others its painful and feels wrong. :nervous: |

.yess djbruuen, pump the jam was a plus!
He even played another version of The World is Mine but blah!, didn't have the same effect.
Yap, there was enough room for everyone, I wish it can be like that for next sat for Oakie..but we can't have everything. damn |

I was there for the last few hours and it was nothing but dirty house madness. Really good as usual. The best nights are resident nights. The guests dont usually do it for me.
As for the guy at the top of the thread. Perhaps you wanted Pallazos instead of Guvernment? |
