Last night happened a party here in Brasilia:
Brasilia Music Festival, with lots of good djs...
Paul Van dyk, Christopher Lawrence, Tiga, Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos.

It was a good party, good to see some starts I use to hear in my bedroom...
:D

Richie Hawtin vs Ricardo Villalobos back2back"!! nonsense techno...
both using ableton live, it was perfect.

D-nox (german) played a good acid/prog set too, so PVD started, a set similar to the Dance Valley 2005 one...
now I'm not a trance party virgin, ROFLER"!!! :wtf:

but with some songs I didnt recognize, sounds like there are some new tracks coming... :)
PVD used 2 macs, some people say he s not using more final scratch, and its not ableton, is a program of a developer called Rane, is it true'?

Ah"!!! Tiga set was fresh too"! good electro/techno/house stuff"!!!

:)

He's using a program called Serato Scratch Live which is made by a company called 'Rane' and also Ableton :)

Wow, I was thinking, he was using Ableton and FS 2.O, Just wondering why would he shift from FS to Serato.......

Because apparently the new version of FS is unreliable and in comparison to Serato ;)

as an fs2 user, i cant say i agree,, with traktor intergration and the new control unit.. id say if your cpu is configured proeprly, its better than serato

Regardless of what PVd uses, the guy is amazing live, I perfer his live sets more than his albums. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
ATL_Trancer
yep, he's totally making a comeback this year! his DV and love from above sets this summer were enough to get me thinking about trance again (just a LITTLE tho haha!) :p
