Good drums & percussion for trance...

| any body know of a good place to get drum and percussion samples suitable for trance? i've looked everywhere.. but all the samples i can find are the wrong style, and sound very cheesy in trance tunes.. + i can't afford decent equipment to make my own samples :( any help would be appreciated |

I'm looking for the same thing actually.. I only like a fraction of the sounds in Reason, and if I remember correctly Fruityloops samples are pretty bad quality.
Btw, how is drums done by the professionals? Sampler + sample cds? Or drum synths? Would be nice to know..

Distortion is the key! :D
Cut and slice the samples a bit.. put them through an EQ and distort them. Be creative! ;) |
