No more discussion about bloody key-mixing :whip:

love your thinking charlee!! :stongue: :stongue:

keymixing = using the smoothest, softest & most elegant toilet paper there is. without keymixing you could accidentally grab the cheap & nasty sandpaper to scratch across your sensitive date.

i know which i prefer :p

keymixing is like using toilet paper, if youre not using it, you're just fingering your ass.

JANUARY'S SHOW

This Month it gives me great pleasure to welcome - Harry Lemon (Lemon8) and Elevation to The Sounds of Downunder for exclusive guestmixes.

Harry Lemon (Lemon8) -

Lemon8 has become synonimous with quality. Almost like a trademark, you can see the name Lemon8 on a variety of record sleeves by the best dance labels around across the globe and he's definitely become one of the top remixers in the world. For the past three years he did some 35 remixes for labels ranging from Australia to Switzerland and from the UK to the US. After releasing 'Lose Control' on Bedrock, his single 'New York, New York' has become the best selling record of late 2002 in his native Holland and, again, became an instant classic worldwide.

In 2003 Harry released his album called 'The Inner Sanctuary Sessions'. The album contains 20 original tracks and remixes from a 2 year period and proves the fact that he's not only an outstanding producer, but an excellent DJ as well. It even won him the 'Cool Award' for Best Album as voted by Cool Magazine readers in South America where he came out on top beating John Digweed, Satoshi Tomiie and even Coldplay.

In 2004 he founded Bandung records with the crew from Armada Music and the first release called 'Sanctuary' by Origene was an instant succes topping the charts worldwide. At this time Harry Lemon is busy doing studiowork for new tracks and playing records in all corners of the world.

Since then, Harry Lemon has also had big releases with his tune 'Tiga' as well as remix of Girl Nobody - Cages.

DJ Elevation (Mike Skye) -

Elevation's breakthrough arrived when he submitted a project of his, then entitled Clear Blue Sky, to well-known DJ and producer, Markus Schulz. Schulz, having a keen ear for talent, quickly began work on the track with Elevation, who soon became Schulz's protégé. After working together for a few short weeks, Schulz and Elevation produced the masterpiece of progressive-trance, Clear Blue. Released on Armada Music imprint Electronic Elements, Clear Blue has seen success worldwide with some of the biggest names in trance today. Together with Markus, Elevation helped conceive the sound that has come to be known as "Coldharbour". Then, at age 16, Elevation reached heights he never foresaw.

During the course of 2004, Elevation found himself busier than ever. Expanding his DJ career, he began a semi-monthly residency at the prominent club Bleu in Detroit. He has played packed venues in Miami and other places around the US, playing alongside such greats as Armin van Buuren, Gabriel & Dresden, Max Graham, and of course Markus Schulz. Don’t be fooled though, he hasn’t slacked off in producing! In August of 2004, Elevation completely upgraded his studio and from then on his achievements continued to multiply.

In 2005, Inspired by Airwave, Funabashi, Andrew Bennett, and Andy Moor, he began to explore new sounds. He created his first solo production Ocean Rain which is featured on A State of Trance 2005, Mixed by Armin Van Buuren. Following shortly thereafter Elevation was approached by Armin Van Buuren to remix the single on his artist album Shivers. He also delivered a storming remix of Hammer & Bennett - Language released on Coldharbour Recordings. He has also spent a great deal of time collaborating on the Markus Schulz album. In July, Markus Schulz & Elevation stepped in to the studio once again! This time to give Nalin & Kane's "Open Your Eyes" the Coldharbour remix treatment, which received confirmed support from Tiesto, Talla 2XLC, Armin Van Buuren, Edgar V, and more.
