Coldplay @ MSG and how dumb I am....

ok so it's not trance related, but I'd figure I'd share how big of an idiot I am...
So a friend of mine really likes Coldplay, I like 'em to, but I'd take trance over them anyday. So I hear they're coming to town and that tickets are sold out. So really wanting to take her, I pay an arm and a leg for tickets on ebay. Tickets come, I surprise her with them, we're both excited, last Thursday rolls around and we head into the city. Get to the Garden, and there's like 20 emergency vehicles all around it. We're like woah wtf, there's tons of people everywhere. We get to the door and its all closed and so we're thinking something happened @ the concert (we were about 45 mins late because of getting out of work). So we ask around and learn it was a fire in Penn Station. So I'm like WTF is up with the concert then. I take out to the tickets to look... sure enough... yea, the concert was the day before. And you know what we were doing the day before... nothing, watching TV talking about "24 hours from now we'll be at the concert hahaha" ...what an idiot I am. |

I forgot that I had Ben Harper tickets once in college. It was a Sunday night and I'd had a lot of work to do that weekend. Anyhow, I come out of my room looking to hang out after I'd finished up, and couldn't find a bunch of the guys I usually hung out with. Then it dawned on me, just in time for the concert to be over. |

Yeah if that happened to me i would flip out and make up some bull story like the tickets didn't get there in time or something.... |

hah i was thinking that, but they sent them certified mail, i had to sign for 'em when they came, we just laughed about it, it was a good friend i was going with anyway. would have really sucked if it was some girl i was trying to impress or something ahah |
