I would have to agree and say that its a waste of money as well. I refuse to pay that much money for 5 hrs no matter who's playing. Next thing you know they are going to try to charge us 60bills for on dj for 1 hr.

Yeah but for me there is a big difference between $40 and $60. Especially since I will be going back to school soon and I have to be aware of how much money is being spent.

Agreed that at $60 this is getting pricey (this is almost as much as they charged for Ultra Miami, which had MUCH more choices in talent and was a looonnnggger festival - 13 hrs compared to this 5.5 hr gig), but I still hope there's a good turnout (the website said that the $50 tix all sold out). Also remember, that Ultra in Miami started out small also, its first few years were beach parties featuring Sasha and Digs before it metamorphosed into what it is now. Hopefully Ultra in NYC will follow the same path. |
