goooooooo gators!
anyone else thnk it's funny that tennessee is worried CJ leak (who played there and now works here) will share the hand signals w/ his bro lol

By LOUIS ANASTASIS
Alligator Staff Writer
Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer is really concerned about that Leak at UF. It's just not the one you're probably expecting him to lose sleep over.
Nope, Fulmer isn't just scheming to stop quarterback Chris Leak. He's also zeroing in on C.J. Leak, Chris' older brother, who played at Tennessee and may be helping the Gators with a little inside information.
"C.J., I'm sure, knows a lot about our offense and about signals and our system, and that's certainly something we have to address," Fulmer said.
C.J., who played as a two-way player for Tennessee the previous two seasons, now works as an office aid for the University Athletic Association. At the Southeastern Conference Media Days, Meyer said his responsibilities would revolve around paperwork in the office. Now, with conference supremacy on the line, C.J. may be stuffing Meyer's envelopes with some pages of Fulmer's playbook.
The coach is so concerned with Chris' brother that he will turn Tennessee's sidelines into a makeshift baseball dugout. Fulmer plans on simultaneously using two or three coaches and players to relay different sideline signals to confuse the Gators.
"It can really be a distraction," Fulmer said.
Meyer downplays all of this - to a degree. The Gators will use video, he said, to analyze Tennessee's schemes. C.J., however, will serve as a resource regarding Volunteers personnel.
"Is that the reason C.J. is here? Sure," Meyer joked. "No, the reason he's here is because he's a high-quality, high-character person and I kind of like people like that in the coaching profession." |

seems that every year we have some ginormous game that means the entire season.... and most years the cards fall to where we have still lost this game and still have a shot at the SEC and national champ but some up at miss st. or ole miss has butt ed us into oblivian(sp)... FSU has done their fare shares too...
im about to the point where i dont give a about work for the rest of the week.. i just want to see the in game already!!...
there hasnt been a sporting event that ive given two s about since the gators lost to mich st. in march... well i kinda did about the bucs game but in the NFL you can lose like 5 games and still win teh superbowl.. but that week 1 win was a nice kick start.... now if we can make it 2 vs the bills then we might have somethign cooking

ok this is a different gator topic so it deserved a different post
ok so as im thinking on this whole gator season... i was looking at the rankings and the top teams... what if... big what if... USC, Texas, VT, UF, Louisville, Wisc (i was gonna say Purdue but they play ND), ND all went undefeated...
ok i know im starting to dabble in the sports talk kinda topic which ill try to stay away from... and seeing where im going with this i doubt that'll happen
so they all go undefeated... thats what.. 7 teams from basically the major conferences +ND.... yeah we have new polls and old coaches voting blah blah blah.. and AP dropped out of BCS.. and ESPN droped the coaches poll... but back to where the Gators play in this, but id almost feel more of a satisfied season from UF by being undfeated along with the other 6 teams being undefeated and it showing straight to the powers that be face's that the polling and national championship crownign is rediculous...
so if the Gators won every game and finished... hell i wouldnt even care what their rank would be.... I'd know that they did everything possible and they are champions in my book... i wouldnt need some stupid trophy (well it wouldnt be so stupid if our name was on it :)) to know my Gators were champions... and there would be nothign in my mind for the rest of my life to make me think different (similar to what i bet Auburn's fans think of last year) plus it would about time in change the way things work and make a playoff...
my 2 cents... i kinda got pissed off at work today and im taking it out by being all psyched for the Gators... |

i agree with that all the way...but in my book the winner of the sec is the bomb cause the sec is the hardest so if the gay ass polls wanna mess around whatever...we take the sec and thats all i really need...that being said...
