Trouble transitioning from Epic to Prog

Well about half my records are very epic and the other half are semi-progressive, i.e. the stuff you can still use to get the crowd moving but yet have a much more chilled feel than the "Big Synth" sound. I seem to have problems making this transition from big sound in the beginning to slowly winding down the sound towards the end in my sets. Some examples of this "semi-prog" in my collection are:
Jose Zamora & Damian dp - Transatlantic (especially Andy Moor mix)
Yilmaz Atlanhan - Eighties
Jose Amnesia vs Serp - Second Day
Ridgewalkers feat El - Find
Duncan Sheik - On a High
Beatmatching poses a bit of a problem as well since the range is only +/-8% but I find if I set the tempo to 128-133bpm I can usually match most of my records. I also have very chill Sasha, James Holden and co. "true" progressive stuff I like to bring out as I close my set but I never have to much of a problem in that transition. Maybe I should just make life simpler and stick to one sound :eyespop: |

| you need to find transition songs that bridge the gap between the two different styles. You can't just pitch the epic stuff down a lot or the progressive stuff up because jumping that much in terms of BPMs will make some of those songs sound off, especially if you're using TTs which don't have pitch lock. |
