And i know that, but i need some help. Ok, I have a Denon Dn-X100 and gemini GSM-3200s and im pissed because im not getting anywhere near the volume that i should be getting from the speakers. However, recently my friend plugged his Ipod into my mixer and keeping everything else identical, was able to get 10X the volume out of the speakers. Does this mean that i need a preamp, or is there something that im just missing here? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

| make sure the phono/line switch next to the rca's is on phono if you have one, make sure the flipswitch on the face is on phono. You should DEFINATLY be on the phono inputs 100% tho thats why your sound from the TT's is weak |
