I recently heard the 1997 scott hardkiss essential mix, and i was stunned by it's greatness. Mixing was great but the tracks was divine. I started to do some research (mainly discogsing thing), and discovered alot of amazing stuff by hardkiss and stuff released on his legendary label. I think submerged version Raincry is Hardkiss' mostly known work thanks to Sasha, Diggers & Northern Exposure. I was blown away by the remix of "Infinitely Gentle Blows", "White Love" & "Concepcions"
Hardkiss' was so ahead of his time, a true talent |

| I agree, Hardkiss is a very underrated producer. Everything he's made under his God Within alias is quality. "Indian Summer" and "The Phoenix" are two of my favourites. Would definetely like to hear that essential mix... |

| His United DJ's was ace as well. Shame it was so poorly promoted when the series left Moonshine. |

I was wondering the same thing. They do sound similar to many 'ambient breaks' tracks of that era, but there's also something different about them. You said it good - he was ahead of his time with this one.
Anyway, huge respect to Scott Hardkiss, his brothers and acts on his label. T Tauri - Joy To The World <-- wonderful record |
