It sounds like a neuromuscular disorder of some kind. i have poor circulation and my arms / legs fall asleep all the time, but i never get shakes. My cousin just got diagnosed with lou gherigs (ALS) last year and he had similar symptoms but he wouldnt loose feeling of his limbs, just control. he started falling alot whle walking up stairs, and now he cant open beers or light his smokes anymore.

I wouldnt worry about it too much jaimie, it may not be neurological at all, it could just be severe lack of circulation. muscles can spasm (shakes) if they are oxygen starved. it all depends on how long these spells last. a few minutes or hours....
