Rewire error (logic + fruityloops)

this error pops up every time when I try to run fruity within logic in rewire.

D:\projects\ReWire\ReWireDLL\Portable\ReWireDLL.cpp(994) : VERIFY failure

This pops up when I try to run it as vst

D:\projects\ReWire\Parts\Smuggler\Smuggler\Source\Utilities\SStandardverify.cpp(225) : VERIFY failure

Both errors make logic crash.
Searching internet reveals that I'm not the only one having these problems and that the problem is not connected with the programs you are running as cubase users seem to have it too. I didn't find a solution.

What does not help?
reinstall/format/...
installing latest rewire.dll

specs
winxp pro
logic platinum 5.5.1
fruity 5
m-audio audiophile

A solution would be much appreciated.
thanks on advance

I presume you have a legit version of both, but if FL is your main host you can log on the FL boards and download beta/updated plugins. I think I saw a rewire update last time I checked. Been a while due to that stupid security system that FORCES you to use Intern0t h4x0pl0d3r!
Project 7
isnt logic for macs?

All the latest stuff is installed, latest version of fruity, all the latest windows updates on a 5 days old harddisk.
I don't think this is program related as cubase sx 3 users have problems too.

Windows version stopped at version 5.5.1, Logic 7 is available for Mac users. Lucky gits... Only reason I want a Mac is because of Logic 7 and good performance on Adobes products.

On our 'family' computer is works perfect. Onboard sound and an amd 1800. Sigh, maybe I should throw out this computer and buy one with onboard sound.
