hey guys! hope you're all well.
absolutely loving Mylo atm, especially "In My Arms".
Would anybody know how to recreate this synth?

download clip here

Someone told me you're able to do it on Pro-53 with a bit of EQing but i'm not sure.

All help appreciated :)

Interesting, it doesn't sound all that much like the Mylo bass to me but it sounds EXACTLY like the bass in Poxymusic - Our Break! I've been trying to recreate that for a while now. :D

So V-Station *is* good for something... :haha:

yes I forgot to remove portamento and chorus on the patch ...
here is a closer one :

Mylo used a very modest setup for his albumn "destroy rock and roll"

Here is a link to an interview with him in which he describes what he used to make a lot of the albumn.

I have read in a few places that basically he mainly uses Reason rewired to pro tools.

Enjoy the read.

"The best thing - provided you like acid, and who doesn't? - is to use the "Randomize Accents etc." function in Rebirth - keep randomizing for a few hours and eventually your computer will spew out an amazing bassline."
that is really honest for a pro producer

Yeah I have read a few interviews with him and seems seems to have no trouble spewing out his secrets and what he used... In fact he seems to take pleasure in it. Heres another interview with him from computermusic magazine. This interview again talks about reason his computers and monitors etc.

Enjoy.
