in the back of my mind, i still have a tad bit of hope that he'll have a change of heart...i mean, it's only been like 3 days since his decision and now it's the weekend. if i don't hear from him at all by next week, then i will officially get over him. i'm still sort of letting myself think about him, but trust me, when i don't want to think about someone and want to get over them, i simply do it.
i think i'm more curious than hurt. it's like how in the hell do you just bombard someone with so much affection and all this bull about moving in together and just completely lead someone on, and then just turn it off like that??? makes me think he was full of all along if he doesn't change his mind after i groveled a bit... |

we all had our little laugh about the book but seriously that was a red flag that even a blind man could see. even if he calls, you shouldn't go back to him. do you really want to be with someone who will pull a 180 and flake out on you? who knows maybe he had second thoughts about you because he considers himself an elite grad student. either way, leading you on like that was pretty heartless. now that he knows you need him more than he needs you, he can use that as leverage if you get into a relationship. i know its hard to believe that a smart, good looking guy from ohio could be a jerk.  |
