Hello all,
I figured I'd post this here since this this is the closest region to Hawaii. Ill be moving there soon from Italy and was wondering if anybody had any info or any tips on where to get info on the scene there. Im hoping to have the 411 on all the good clubs, local DJs, and everything else b4 I arrive. |

I lived in Hawaii for seven years, what are island are u going to? I left before I really got into music though. The food and culture there is awesome i miss is a lot, but sf is cool too. So if u ever want to chat I totally miss Hawaii...lots of aloha, its a beautiful place with a lot beautiful places and warm people. Even as a TA, i still miss some of the local Hawaiian music, its got a lot of heart; be sure to check it out. :toocool: |

| ill be moving to oahu about twenty minutes away from both waikiki and honolulu. so far all i hear are good things so im very anxious to go! i dj, produce, and promote and im hoping to carry the small successes ive had in both miami and italy to hawaii - but ive been unable to find any solid info online. i know hawaii is a beautiful place and i cant wait to get there!!! |

hey wassup? thanx for the response. im going to oahu and will be living just outside of honolulu. ill be arriving there next april and im totally excited. i definitely want to check out alot of the local customs and traditions while im there. i was hoping maybe you could recommend a couple kool places to go whether they be clubs or otherwise. i would like to continue djing over there but if there's nothing up that alley coming to mind anyhing will do. thanx! |

Hi, I was pretty young when I left Kailua on Oahu.(right before highschool) I've been back a couple times since though. Waikiki/Honolulu's got the most night life on Oahu by far though. I'd recommend checking out SPRACI (Site for Party and Rave Info) check out some of their events for Hawaii. Thats probably your best bet for "djing/clubbing" in Hawaii...some decent djs come through ever once in awhile. (PM me if you want good restaurants though, be sure to check out the Merry Monarch Festival its a Hawaiian/Music Hula Fest...but the afterpartys are always fun) |

| I lived in Oahu for about 6 months and the only place i could find edm was at the W hotel friday nights they played house in one of the rooms... |
