I never said that LV was cheap than LA, re read the post, and I can tell you this that if someone offered him enough to play in a great club that would be packed with people, people that think they know it all and maybe his ing neighbor STILL doesnt know !
So put away your box of tissues and your violin and get real for once. |

As for teh fact of "What if you like prog and trance" then that would be a tough choice considering you cant see Digweed + line up or PVD + line up in the same week end end LA.
Vegas does offer you this option and more, BUT yes it would be more expensive this is for sure. Vegas is always more expensive. |

the post said boils down to affordability...just didn't know what you meant

sort of open ended
and either way it doesn't matter how much someone pays him, its up to his management team and his representation. he's not exactly a free agent |

I meant that if you can afford Vegas (which is always more money) then IF you liked the talent this would be the spot to go.
I cannot disclose what I know but Digweed would play Day one it was just about what the right fee was. As if you were him and a great city/club/crwod was 45 minutes away on a day that you didnt have anything planned wouldnt you take the pay check as well as brand your sound to another city and crowd?
If you think about it it makes sense for him to play rhater than not since he is around and ICE is off the hook on holiday week ends. |

The *only* thing Vegas has on LA this year is Halliwell, and it is tempting to go just for him, lol.
But otherwise, I mean seriously, lets get real here folks. Diggers, JXL and Van M? That's unreal. I'll be savin my ass off to go to that, unless NYC tops LA that is:thepirate |
Agree Halliwell will be rock for sure, last time he make Oake look like NUT @ Ice, He's a dj for the party, not for chill out |

I think it's more of Digweed saying NO to playing in Vegas more than promoters in Vegas trying to get Digweed to play there. :)

HappyHappyPvD, Tiesto, AND Digweed NYE Las Vegas.....WOW!!
So, I got this from the Las Vegas Weekly....they state:
"Early though it may be to discuss November and beyond, clubland is filling up its calendar and reserving A-lister talent far in advance. Godskitchen will be presenting DJ Tiesto at the Orleans Arena, with afterhours at Ice on New Year's Eve. The rest of the weekend lineup will feature DJ Paul Van Dyk on December 30 and DJ John Digweed on January 1."
So you may have thought that Digweed at Giant LA was a better choice....but you may want to reconsider.
12/30-PvD at Ice
12/31-Tiesto at Orleans, then afterhours at Ice
01/01-Digweed at Ice
It will definitely be a very pricey weekend, but if there is any way that you can make this happen.... |
