Do you use AIM? If not we could exchange e-mail addresses or something. Trying to get into the scene more, but it doesn't really exist in Dayton. :) |

Donald Glaude is soooooo sick... Hey tore up the D when I saws him this summer...
Dieselboy on the other hand...
If someone were ever in need of a way to absolutely torture me to the point that I would be an entirely broken individual with no will to live left what-so-ever, all they'd have to do is force me to listen to a few minutes of Dieselboy without being able to turn it off... |
|
|
| JonHennessy |
speak on it man... why do you think dieselboy is so bad?
i've seen him one other time besides this show we're doing, i was very impressed with his set last time i saw him, he's americas #1 dnb dj... hes sick in my opinion. :disbelief |

You guys are only giving Glaude an hour?!?!?!?!?!?!?! AAND he's following Dieselboy?!?!?!?!?!!?
This is starting to look like just one more WAY overdone event with FAR too many DJ's to have any kind of cohesive night... |

speak on it man... why do you think dieselboy is so bad? |
Well, beyond my absolute hatred for most DNB to begin with, I just find his brand of Drum & Bass to sound especially like bad noise... I get bombarded with Dieselboy DNB CONSTANTLY, the meth crowd around here are all Dieselboy freaks...
To me, listening to Dieselboy just plain hurts... :nervous: |

1 hour time slots; too many DJ's... I've run into this problem at more than one event...
More than one larger name DJ has told me they won't even play events with an hour slot, because they feel they can't do anything with it, and crowds HATE dealing with rapid changes in the pacing of the evening...
Edit: And just for the record, I really do hope this works out for you guys man... I've just known from experience that events like this, well, they never seem to come off well... |
