Hi guys, Los Angeles TA here.
I'm going to be flying out to NYC on Sept. 30th and I'll be staying till Oct. 9th.
I'm staying at my sisters in upper manhattan (washington heights). She's going to be working during the day so I'm going to be wandering the city by myself pretty much. Can I get some recommendations on things to do while I'm over there? |

| there's a lot of great shopping areas in the ciy worth checking out. If you're into movies, the Angelika film center is a great way to spend a few hours. Definitely hit up Crobar or Spirit on Friday or saturday. |

Washington Heights Moas! Go get yourself some uptown haze and smoke it while wandering the city. You'll be straight! |

| Thanks for all the suggestions so far. But are there things I can do during the day? I mean nobody's going to be spinning during the day at crobar or spirit....... |

-Sheep's Meadow in Central Park for some sunbathing/people watching (take kidnyce's suggestion beforehand ;))
-Go record/CD shopping downtown (East Village) |

| Go to museums and we have a ton of them, and hit up all the touristy spots. Empire, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Time Square etc. People who flame me are being posers as you know you do the same thing if you went to another city especially abroad. |
