The Gallery bandwagon rolls on with an exclusive 3 Hour Set from Dutch destroyer Marco V on Friday 23rd September. Marco’s extended sets are now legendary at Turnmills, having roadblocked the club on all 3 of his past visits! The World’s No.16 DJ returns to his London home fresh from a hectic summer schedule and he’ll be joined by his long-standing production partner and fellow Dutchman Benjamin Bates. Like Marco, this tech-house loving DJ is also ranked well in the Top 100 (No.77) and he’ll be making his Gallery debut on the night. Matthew Dekay is another DJ busy topping up his air miles, with recent excursions to South America, Australia and beyond. He plays his first Gallery set of 2005, so expect another heavy concoction of proggy-beats and driving house. Another DJ whose reputation keeps on growing is Italian maestro Albert Vorne. He recently released his ‘The Maze Vol.2’ compilation with an approving nod from the trance heads and earlier this year he collaborated on a track with The Gallery’s very own Gavyn Mytchel in his studio back in Italy. The result was Coincidence – soon to be a monster hit on The Gallery’s dancefloor later this year. Robbie Butler meanwhile completes the main room action, getting the night off to a flyer.
T2 is this week left in the capable hands of party specialists Cheeky People, who make a one-off Gallery appearance. CP residents Ramsden, Justin Steel, Eddie Johnson & Jason Day will be laying down house music of the highest order, switching between acid-tinged
beats and funked-up filth as the night goes on. |
