| Went to Crobar for the after party. Wow, I didn't think I was able to have this much fun in one night. Haven't had this much fun since the Destiny parties with Mark EG. Mylo was great! Danced up a freaking storm. Danny Tenaglia was not anything like he is in Toronto...he played very, very dark, very little vocal house....The man knows his crowd. His set started at 3AM and was still going at 12 noon when we left Crobar! I heard a rumour that he will play til 2 pm...THE WOOTING NUTTER! Anyways, Ultra parties are a definate must for those of you who are serious partiers! A terrific good time! DID I MENTION....I LOVE NY! |

Better late than never....here are some of the pics from our fantastic weekend in NYC. Everything seems so slow here now...
I had the best time in NYC. The sights were amazing...I absolutely love the statue of liberty! She is so beautiful...the amount of structural engineering that went into her...is phenominal! The sounds were busy and hectic...this truely is the city that never sleeps. The smells, well, they were tolerable for the amazing and fast paced environment. Bring some really good shoes for walking if you go to NYC...ouch, I had to soak my feet in cold water at one point.
Ultra Music Festival and Crobar after party! The highlight of my trip. Erick Morillo playing "alright" in a small tent, with no air transfer and dripping head to toe in your own sweat...absolutely priceless! I don't think I could scream loud enough. Danny Teneglia playing an 11 hour set in his home town, dark, dark and dirty house at Crobar...absolutely fantastic! I couldn't dance enough...I wanted to keep on moving, but my mind said yes, "go, go" and my legs said "up yours! I'm tired", lol.
I am definately going back...I want to visit Pascha in NY when Erick opens it in a few months. Yes, yes, I wanna go back!
I never quite understood before, but it is as clear as day now....
