He doesn't care how people get out of New Orleans.
Seriously though, best to New Orleans and other hard hit ares of the hurricane in their rebuilding efforts |

thing is, its not president bushes responsibility to get people out of new orleans. its the mayor's and governors job to do that. bush has the run the country. its up to the states and cities to run themselves. mind you, the mayor of new orleans issued the evacuation order only 20 hours before the hurricane hit, and made no provisions for the poor 28% of the city to evacuate. its the mayors and governors fault. also the former head of FEMA was imcompetent no matter how hard he tried. bush is the one getting 62 billion dollars in aid for the city and doing his best with what power he has..
remember, the consititution garentee;s states rights. the federal government just cant waltz right in a fix everything. its the state's responsibility to do that, deploy their own national gaurd, and ask for aid. only when they ask for aid, can FEMA and other federal help come in.
u cant blame bush.
and of course, bush is against roe v. wade. abortion isnt meant as a means of contraception like people are using it today. its supposed to be for when the mother's life is threatened by the baby. the issue of rape babies is a very touchy one. |

That is the most stunning example I've ever seen of someone just completely missing a joke.

I'm just glad I'm not a woman living in the US, because I think I would be worried.
Most of those opposed to abortion are also against proper sex ed, availability of EC, etc., so they get no respect from me.
