need some info about bringing a DJ over to spin for in Toronto! (pg. 2)

well you see the thing is that among the EDM fans Mr Sam is very well reconed but among the n00blars that visit clubs every weekend and among the club hoppers Mr Sam is a nobody. Half the people that go to Guv on saturday nites dont even know why they r going there. They just go because well they have been told Guv is a kool place. W0t i am trying to say is that 70 percent of the crowd at Guv in my opinion dont even know half the times who is playing and who is not.
For example a few months ago when Marco V was in town there was a bunch of peeps with a Britt flag screaming and yelling about Marco V being from UK. In same context last sat nite when i was doing some flyering outside Guv i over heard a group of gals who were walking in talking among themselves that Armin Van Buuren was playing tonight. And there r many more stories like that.
So if u want to bring a dj in town then your best bet would be to get in touch with a promotions company and stuff or do the promotions yourself and find a small venue to do it where people will come to actually appreciate the tunes and appreciate the work u do and not cos some dumbass wack job from ginobridge made it popular and now u r at big venue with a bunch of reatrds who paid 20 bucks to get in and r now standing around with their thumbs up their ass hoping one of them hookers wud come talk to them.

I like Mr. Sam as a producer... never heard a set by him but his tracks are good.
I'd agree... talk to the guys at Paradigm... they've brought M.I.K.E., Airwave, etc over here.
