Ok guys, Ive been working on this for a while now, and im finally at a stage where im pleased with it.
Its not quite finished (hence the fade out at 4:20) but id love some feedback on the the track so far.
Definatley my best work yet but please give me your honest opinions so I can improve some more.

| nice pulsing synths, but the percussion in the intro is wayyy too basic. piano is good too. the effects on the vocals is pretty cool. i like the lead that comes in after the first verse or whatever, tho it could still use some tweaking. but its strange that you start the song with a 4 on the floor beat and then switch to breakz halfway through. anyway nice mix. keep it up. |

Hi,
imo a few changes, the kick and percussion could do with sum work. The bass is arite, nice and noticable. the backing tb303 noise should be changed. The synth is cool on the way to breakdown, breakdown is cool, piano is ok. The synth after does not work for me. The breaks are nice, i think thatz where that kick is suited. I gotta say that the vocals are well done and in time.
A few sound changes and this will sound better.
Keep it up.

I know what you mean by people only reviewing your stuff when it was bad. Just look over at my lonely little ibiza thread at the bottom of the page. :(
I think your bass would do better centered. It would pack a bit more punch, IMO, in the intro, it sounds kind of muddy and buzzy.
Interesting breaks.
I think you could mix your kick up a bit. I can hardly hear it.
There's a bit on the ending where the volume jumps up. Work on smoothing out the fade out. |

Hey man thx for your comments on my track.
Heres my comments on yours.
First off dont really like the perc at the start sounds a bit overlapping and the kicks barely recognisable. Bassline is good when it comes in like the background synths too. Piano section sounds good but I'd prefer a harder section when you kick in instead of the breakbeat thats not really my thing.
Anyway good luck on finishing this one.

This is a nice little remix no doubt.
I find the lead sound just a touch intrusive and it my sit a little to high in the mix for my liking.
I love the way the vocal comes in, sounds very haunting and does the song justice rather than sounding cheezy.
I think the percs could do with more work though both in terms of elements and levels.
I know what you mean though, trying to get your track reviewed these days is hard. I think in my case though, sometimes it's better that I don't see peoples reviews as I'm quite sensitive he he.
