Ok so Ive just come back from a holiday in Germany and I liked the place a hell of a lot better than where I live at the moment. But I dont want to suddenly jump into a place, as you of course only see the good side of a country when youre on holiday.
So Id like to know what you think the WORST thing about Germany is. What dont you like about it and why. Just to give me an idea about the bad side. Small things too, not big things.
Expect many more threads like this from me :D |

The situation might change to the better in the next years, let's see what todays elections will be like. But our recession is definitly a point to think about.
Where have you been to in Germany? |

| Stayed in Grafenau, in the Bavarian forest, and did daytrips to Passau and Regensburg. Loved Regensburg - great place. |

Bad things in germany:
-Taxes; if you make a lot of money, you will give 50+% to the government
-Gas prices (see taxes)
-Stores have closing hours, i.e. after 8pm you will need to go to a gas station or kiosk to buy anything. No grocery shopping at midnight
-depending on where you live, the weather from Oct - March is awefully dreary |
