I just got some new needles (groovemaster2pro), i have stanton str-100 decks and for some reason these two don't get along. The sound is terrible and distorted, a pair of 60 dollar needles sound better. Does any body out there know about his? Hopefully somebody out there has or knows someone who has run into this problem before. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

groovemasters If I recall correctly have quite a hot output and can overload the input stage of some mixers
try turning down the input gain to the channel
If you dont have an inut gain then you may need a better mixer or stay with lower output cartridges |
