No, altercation started at Inside, then the shooting happened outside.

Good thing I dont work at Money anymore eventhough the shooting was at inside but I think Money is the next fors sure.

here is a little info for you all:

Sat nights at money is a hiphop night and they get alot of edup people there.Sad Thing is money was actually ok on Satuardays(ask Swamper and he'll tell you how good it was ;)) in the past but it died after 4 years since the ownership changed so they decided to bring the promoters(the guys that do guvernment on Fridays)so that they cant make some money because I remember they have about 20 people on Sat nights. So the owner badly needed people ther and didnt care who as long as people are in the club.so they brought those morons from guv to do it and thats when I left because I knew soon or later something like this will happen or one of us will get shot.

Final words:I worked on Richmond street for some years and it is a very scary and disgusting street filled with ugly in thugs/thugs wannabe's. I hope they blow up all those clubs there,I really (not Republik though ;) )Toronto will be alot better without that hole. So please avoid Richmond street unless you have to.Sadly that place is getting worse every week.you guys only hear about the shootings there but there is ALOT more happens there but you dont hear stabbings brawls on the street every week etc etc.

I dont know what the solution is here really but playing hiphop and 50 cent at every club wont help it either:whip:

first off the fight began in seven. some idiot was getting kicked out. he had a gun and shot the bouncer at the door 3 times . he in now in the hospital in critical condition.

second i work at money. while its not my scene, its not thug life. its a lot of fobs who throw their cash around. the promoters on sat are the same as guv on friday, but they're not looking for the same crowd. music wise its an even toss btwn hiphop, reggae, top40 and euro. furthermore the management rocks. i love my boss (howard) and everyone else i work with.

we also search people at the door, which seven hadn't been doing (god knows why)

not trying to sell money..in fact i wouldn't recommend it to anyone on the boards. u wouldn't like it..hell i don't care for the scene..but rarely do i see anyone in there that i would say might be gangsta

Hardcore Trancer used to be a platform dancer @ Money but refused to dance to hip-hop so they had to let him go. Poor guy. :haha:

On a side note, my buddy is one of the Friday night Guvy guys who promotes at Money and its not that bad. I've been there on several occasions and have yet to see anyone get out of hand

hopefully other clubs will follow republik's lead and restore richmond st to its former glory. Republik is one of the clubs on richmond st that resembles how clubs were when they were good. And seriously im not just saying that because i work there. Lets just say that if i didnt feel this way about the place i wouldnt be working there. Many places on Richmond now feel like some ghetto strip plaza joint in scarborough from the 90s full of thugs and wannabes. I HATE that that scene has moved into the mainstream club culture.

well Iam glad you like that place, but believe me it has gone to comapare to when I started working there like 2 yrs back. One of the main reasons I left is because they pay compare to every other club and for what we did there that amount was just retarded.Music has always been lacking there only when Mark oilver was there on Fidays a few years back, but other then that I really believe the music there is beyond .

they always searched on Sundays but never Satuardays which is ed because all the happend on Sat nights, but I guess they never cared.Glad they finally realized how much it effectd people that work inside.
