lava lamp question

im thinking of getting one, but am uncertain of which colours to go for, i was looking at this one:
but im not sure if this would provide a desirable ambiance, might be too bright 
so for anyone with a lava lamp, or perhaps a collection of them, which colours do you find work well for a nice chilled out lighting setup?

What's the colour of the room where you're going to have this?
Do you have any other accesories ( table lamps etc ) and what are their colours? |

| I like blue and red personally. I have the full drug den set up though so the color of the lamp doesnt really affect much. |

find the colors that match in your room, and figure out the lighting in accordance to that. |
