looks like it's only gonna be half the TA party crew that was out last time for Lee! i would really love to see Lee again but i need to take a break from partying for at least 1 weekend.

leeeeee in' killed the place - he was jamming the tracks from the very beginning - had me shakin' my thing most of the night. had to get away from the main room - it was so intense - in the round bar and sat for a while, but came back around 3:15 or so to hear the last few tracks - lee had slowed it down a bit, which was good. one of the last tracks he spun was the white horse track - hahahaha - a lot of the tracks at the beginning of the night were from the everybody on tour compilation. lee was dancing and having a great time in the dj booth. christen and i went home and i was sleeping by 6am - totally whipped out from the night.
lee is by far my favorite dj right now - but that may change once i see sander k on the terrace and richieeeeeeeeeeeee. |

| I agree with u princess.....lleeeeeeee fookin' owned the place here in KC as well. I'm still recoopin a bit and IDing tracks as we speak, so will have a more formal post before too long. The track that sent me thru the roof---Dirk Technic- I love You (Orig Mix). As the girl says "don't be afraid.....I love you," Lee looks at the crowd and mouths the whole song as if he's telling us to not be afraid. Crazy energy from this guy, and the most into his set than I've seen someone in awhile. Got to meet him after the show and get a few pics, will post in a bit. Asked him how Soundbar went off the night before, and he said it went mental. DAMN...... Anyone else have a review???? Can't wait to see him again. |

holy shiat - what a night.
I was waiting to post a review until sound-bar posted photos cause i've been told there are a few gems floating out there. Lee owned the night and it flew by so fast. Don't ask me to ID tracks, I'm horrible at that but I loved his set.
As Kristen pointed out, I had a "Must Get Paid..." t-shirt made at a spur of the moment on friday afternoon and wore it to the show which got me into the DJ booth with Lee during the set for some photos.
The crowd seemed really nice as well, not too big, not too small, just right. Plenty of room to dance. Plus, i got to see a few people whom I haven't seen in ages.
One of the best nights I had this year and so glad that I picked lee over Armin for this weekend. After reading Armin reviews - the night sounded terrible. Once I get the pics for Sound-Bar, I'll post them up.
