"Orbis Tertius II" focuses on the darker and psychedelic side of trance music. It captures the sound of the late nineties when it is said that trance was at its peak.

Rene Lomeli is a local DJ born and raised here in Santa Barbara, where he is an alum at San Marcos High School and current student at Santa Barbara City College. At just 19 years old, he is an up and coming talent that has developed his style and skills through his residency on (TECHNO)LOGICAL Radio. "1:18am" gets its name from the time that the mix was completed. Rene Lomeli is the type of DJ that embraces the latest mixing technologies, combining the vinyl and digital formats in his mixes. "1:18am" was entirely mixed digitally via his laptop on a program called Tracktor DJ Studio.

i forgot to mention...i wrote that article for an entertainment publication in Santa Barbara called The Independent. I wrote the article for a "Top 5 Indy" column. I hope it gets included in this week's issue!!! Only the tracklistings were not included in the article. DJ'S keep sending me your mixes and I may air them on my show!!!
